WELCOME, 5TH GRADE TEACHER, Carla Schroeder.
I am excited to join the fifth grade team this upcoming school year. This will be my fourteenth year in the classroom with teaching experience in third, fourth and fifth grade. I took some time off to raise my three kids while they were young. Now, they will all be high schoolers at CHHS this year. Landon will be a freshman and our twin girls, Addison and Camryn, will be starting their sophomore year. You will be able to find my husband, Wayne, and I at the football games this upcoming fall as our son will be playing on the Freshman team and our girls will be performing during the Friday Night Lights with the Pantera Varsity Dance Team and the CHHS Band... Go Panthers! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, yoga and walking our doodle, Ginger. I am excited for this upcoming year at O.C. Taylor!

WELCOME! Trisha Tylick, PreK Aide
I’m excited to join the OC Taylor team as a Pre-K para. I have a degree in elementary education from Wheelock College in Boston and I worked as a kindergarten teacher prior to staying home with our children
Our family is originally from the east coast but we’ve lived all over the country. We’ve been in Colleyville since the summer of 2018. Our son is a sophomore at CHHS and our daughter is a 6th grader at CMS.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, building things, reading, and fostering dogs.
Looking forward to joining the OC Taylor team!

Last year, we reviewed the GCISD Emergency Response Protocol, but did you know that if there is a situation at your child's school, there are multiple ways to ensure you receive notification? To ensure you are informed, GCISD will send you text messages (for those who opted in during enrollment), emails and mobile app notifications, and post updates on district social media pages and websites. Make sure you stay up to date with what is happening in the district by following our social media channels and downloading the GCISD app. #WeAreGCISD

Hello, I am Cheryl Searle and I will be teaching third grade next year. I grew up here in Colleyville and love GCISD. I have taught a total of 12 years; 5 years before I started my family and the last 7 years at Glenhope Elementary.
My husband and I raised four sons who also attended GCISD schools. My 3 oldest have graduated from college and are now working in Utah. My youngest son attends BYU. I am thankful for my family and love spending time with them. We enjoy pickleball, hiking, water parks, playing games and taking vacations! I am very excited to become an O.C. Taylor Tiger. I love teaching and getting to know all my students. I have a passion for science and math and love creating hands-on activities that help engage and teach my students.

Hi Tigers! I'm Mrs. Holley, and I'm delighted to join you next year as your new counselor.
A little bit about me...
My husband, Hayden, and I have three sweet kiddos: Pierson (Pre-K at OCT), Grayson (3), and Payton (4 months). They bring us so much joy and keep us VERY busy! As parents we have been highly impressed with the experience that OCT has provided for our family. I hope to be able to continue to grow the culture of family and community that has already been established.
Most of my background prior to stepping into the counselor role was spent in special education in Carroll ISD. I have been blessed to spend the last two years as the counselor at Glenhope. While this will be a bittersweet goodbye, I am excited to partner with the staff, parents, and community at OCT to ensure that your kiddos have the best possible experience. I am passionate about helping littles navigate and learn about their feelings and emotions.
When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, baking, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops.
I can't wait to meet each and every one of you very soon!
